Please note the following circumstances whereby you should NOT ATTEND without contacting your therapist to seek further advice. There will be no charge for short notice cancellations in the circumstances listed below and a video/phone call session will be offered where possible.
- You are over 60 years of age
- You have underlying health issues of concern
- You have a temperature above 37.5
- You have developed mild symptoms or
- You are diagnosed with COVID-19
- You have been advised to self-isolate
- You have had first-hand contact with an individual who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is experienceing mild symptoms of COVID-19
Safety & Hygiene Steps for face to face sessions
To ensure maximum safety, we have implemented the following steps:
- Clients must wait in their car or outside the building until their therapist communicates to allow enter the practice
- Face coverings must be worn by all clients when on the premises
- The therapist will meet you wearing her face coverings and take your temperature on arrival
- You will be asked to sanitise your hands
- A strict no hand shaking policy
- Contract tracing form to complete before session commences
- The room will be arranged to ensure that there is at least 2 metres distance between you and your therapist
- Hand sanitiser and bins are available in therapy room
- You have the option to use the bathroom with hot water, soap & single use towels available
- Disinfection of all surfaces and items used by the therapist, hallway and entrance area takes place between each session
- The room will be well ventilated between sessions and can also be open during the session
- The practice will undergo deep cleaning at the end of every working day
